We film the hunt. Your client keeps every second of it. We don’t keep a copy.
What we do
HuntShadow puts a real camera on the hunts you already book — without putting a film crew on your ground. A shadow moves in behind your guide and the client, same as another hunter would: reading the terrain, holding back, staying quiet. Nobody out there has to manage a crew, because there isn’t one to manage.
This costs you nothing. Your client pays us directly, day rate — no cut for you, no bill either. You’re not hosting us, insuring us, or answering for us. We bring our own gear, our own camp, our own food, and we camp apart from your outfit. What you’re left with is a real record of your guide’s work, handed to the person who paid the most to be there, with nothing left behind that could ever land back on you.
In the field
A shadow’s a hunter first, before they’re ever behind a camera. Matched camo, face covering, no radio, no hand signals — nothing for your guide to manage and nothing for the client to notice. We hold ten steps back off the client, who holds back off your guide, and we move quieter than either one. Every shadow clears a hard field test before they’re ever sent to your ground, so what shows up isn’t a stranger learning the backcountry on your name — it’s somebody who already knows it.
Shoots run 16-hour days, for as long as the hunt takes — three days or three weeks, same standard either way. Once we’re out there, you don’t have to think about any of it again.
What your client gets
A week after the hunt, the footage lands on our server. Your client gets a free 30-second highlight clip and the full RAW file — everything we shot, untouched. Fourteen days to download it. After that, it’s permanently deleted. No exceptions, and we never hand footage from your hunts to anyone, ever.
If they’d rather have it cut down for them, our editors turn it into something worth watching:
- 5-minute highlight edit — $2,000
- 30-minute full story — $5,000
Booking & terms
Payment’s due in full when your client books. Cancel more than 7 days out, it’s returned in full. Inside that window, for any reason, the booking stands — by then we’ve turned down other work to hold the date, and there’s no getting it back on short notice. That’s between us and your client. It never lands on you.

There’s nobody to meet here. No face behind HuntShadow, no founder — just shadows, trained to blend into a hunt the same way your guides do, so the same standard shows up on your ground no matter who’s carrying it out.
We don’t run ads and we don’t take on work sight unseen. Every outfitter we shoot for, we’ve met face to face first — that’s the only way the standard stays the same, hunt after hunt.
