Refund & Returns Policy
Due to the exclusive and physically demanding nature of Western videography, our refund constraints are strictly enforced to protect our scheduled booking blocks. These policies are subject to change.
1. Cancellation Windows
- 7 Days Notice: If you cancel your trip 7 days or more in advance of the start date, you are eligible for a full refund of your deposit.
- Under 7 Days Notice: If you cancel with less than 7 days notice, NO money is refunded.
2. Travel, Sickness, & Field Liabilities
The realities of the backcountry impose strict operational liabilities:
- Arrival Liability: If HuntShadow drives to the designated location, we keep the full day’s pay regardless of circumstance, even if absolutely no filming occurs (e.g., due to weather, tag issues, or client no-show).
- Sickness or Injury: If a customer gets sick, injured, or is otherwise physically unable to continue while in the field, they will receive half back (50%) for all the remaining booked days after the current day. The current day’s rate is retained in full.
3. Digital Goods Handoff
Because HuntShadow operates strictly via an in-person handoff of physical SD media cards at the trail head or camp, no “returns” of the footage or service are accepted. You are paying for the time, physical conditioning, and camera operation during the trip. Refunds are never issued based on animal activity, weather conditions, or harvest success.
